From 1 April 2022, Thailand will eliminate the pre-departure RT-PCR requirement for international arrivals (Test and Go, Sandbox, and Alternative Quarantine).
Some airlines might still require travelers to take an RT-PCR test. Make sure you confirm with your airline whether or not you need one.
As for Test & Go and Sandbox travelers, the two COVID tests remain in place: RT-PCR upon arrival (Day 0-1) and an antigen self-test (ATK) on Day 5.
Furthermore, the required stay for the Sandbox Program has been lowered to 5 rather than 7 nights. For travelers who have been vaccinated, it is recommended to apply for the Thailand Pass under the Test and Go program instead of the Sandbox program.
For travelers who are not fully vaccinated entering Thailand under the Alternative Quarantine program, the mandatory quarantine period is now reduced to 5 nights in a quarantine hotel.
